Education and Experience
Dr. Ok graduated with honors from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He decided to pursue a career in plastic surgery with the influence of Prof. Dr. Halit Ziya Konuralp, his long-time mentor and one of the pioneers of plastic surgery in Turkey.
He completed his specialty training at Istanbul Haydarpasa Training and Research Hospital, one of the highest-volume hospitals in Turkey, during which he had the opportunity to perform countless hand surgery, microsurgery, tumor and repair surgery, and plastic surgery procedures.
As his thesis, he submitted a comparative study on the short and long-term results of various breast reduction techniques and their effects on patient satisfaction.
Dr. Ok started his career in a private clinic in Istanbul in 2013. During the 4 years he spent here, Dr. Ok performed thousands of plastic surgery operations, mainly breast, rhinoplasty, face and body rejuvenation procedures.
Private Practice
Dr. Ok founded a thriving private practice in 2017 in Istanbul's Fenerbahce district. With the help of his team of experts and an attentive staff of 15 patient coordinators, he performs surgeries in some of the best hospitals in Istanbul and takes the utmost care of his patients.

Courses
Dr. Bora Ok has received training from one of the world's leading names in plastic surgery, Dr. Bryan Mendelson. He completed Dr. Mendelson's hands-on MAFAC program on deep-plane facelifts, further enhancing his expertise in this area.
Dr. Ok has also observed renowned surgeon Dr. Andrew Jacono in his clinic in New York City. Dr. Jacono is the author of a book on deep-plane facelifts and is considered the pioneer of the technique.
